What You Will Be Doing:
The Network Surveillance Engineer, RAN, Wireless NOC will support a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC), monitoring the RAN network and handling 5G incident troubleshooting. The role involves incident identification, logging, and impact assessment, along with executing initial troubleshooting efforts and escalating to Tier II or other teams when necessary. The engineer will ensure system performance, maintain high network availability, manage incident resolution, and collaborate across multiple functions to achieve service restoration efficiently. This position requires shift work on a 24x7x365 fixed or rotational basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of telecom/wireless experience.
- Experience managing 4G/5G NOC shift environments.
- Knowledge of 5G components (Core, RAN, Network, Transport, etc.).
- Ability to prioritize, manage dynamic schedules, and resolve incidents swiftly.
- Motivated to address higher-level technical issues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently, under pressure, and in fluid environments.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and people management skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.
