What You Will Be Doing: 

As the leader overseeing safety and production efforts at a 750K ton/year stone quarry, your primary responsibility will be to effectively manage all aspects of operations. This includes site planning, pit development, quality control, and maintenance functions. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with asset protection, financial evaluation, budgeting, cost control, and handling environmental, personnel, and community relations duties. Ensuring compliance with company safety and environmental policies, as well as regulatory standards, will be crucial in this role.

Qualifications: 

To excel in this position, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in aggregate or mining operations. You should possess a comprehensive understanding of MSHA regulations and a strong commitment to safety. Proficiency in aggregate processing and equipment maintenance practices is essential. Excellent communication skills are vital for maintaining relationships with company and regulatory personnel. Strong leadership abilities, demonstrated by your track record in motivating teams and fostering employee ownership of safety, production, and quality, will be highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required, with experience in JD Edwards, AutoCAD, and plant automation systems considered advantageous.
