What You Will Be Doing: 

The Lease Administrator is responsible for reviewing and entering key data from lease documents into the administration system to ensure accurate payments to landlords and identify actionable terms and conditions within the agreements. This role involves setting up rental payments, tracking critical dates such as lease expirations and renewals, and evaluating leases in both physical and digital formats for administrability. The administrator also engages in internal negotiations to maintain adherence to national processes and procedures, calculates prorated payments, anticipates payment escalations and termination fees, and initiates lease payments or exercises option provisions as needed. Additionally, the Lease Administrator monitors and responds to internal inquiries via a shared email inbox, prepares reports for various departments, collaborates with teams to address missing payments or documents, conducts lease audits, and resolves any discrepancies in lease language. Special projects may also be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years’ equivalent experience in accounting, bookkeeping, real estate, or lease administration
  • Ability to work independently
  • High energy and adaptability in maintaining a sense of urgency
  • Ability to review, understand, and communicate lease requirements to stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and research skills
  • Telecommunication experience is a plus but not required
